The Best Pesto
with Green Boost
This is pesto but not as you know it! Add some green goodness to your pasta, or any other meal for that matter, with this yummy pesto. You can make this vegan by skipping the parmesan. Try using different herbs like coriander or parsley for a different flavour. Above all, this recipe is super easy and one you will be making again and again. The Green Boost adds great colour as well as a delicious vegetable flavour.

- 1 garlic clove
- 150g basil leaves (from roughly 1 medium plant)
- 250g dried tagliatelle or pasta of your choice
- 100g parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1 tbsp Bioglan Superfoods Green Boost
- 75g pine nuts
- 5 tbsp olive oil
Method
Boil a pan of water and add in the pasta, cook as per the pack instructions. Meanwhile, add the garlic and pine nuts to a food processor and blend to fine crumbs. Add in the basil leaves and blend again until finely minced. Using a spatula, scrape the contents into a bowl and stir in the olive oil, Green Boost and parmesan. Drain the pasta and stir the pesto through. Serve and enjoy!
