Benefits
  • Healthy Metabolism & Weight

Bioglan Coconut oil is comprised mainly of the medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) lauric acid.  This essential fatty acid metabolises very differently when compared to other saturated fats such as those contained in most meat and dairy products.  The body uses MCTs to boost metabolism and help your body use fat for energy, so it can actually help you become leaner. Bioglan Coconut oil is also a source of manganese which helps to metabolise fatty acids.

  • Immune System Support

Coconut oil has excellent anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties as it contains both lauric and caprylic acid which are well known for fighting off bacteria and infections.

  • Enhanced Energy Production

Unlike other fats, the MCTs in Bioglan Coconut Oil are metabolised in the liver and immediately converted into energy. This means that it does not raise blood glucose levels and is less likely to be stored in the body as fat.

Bioglan Superfoods Organic Coconut Oil consists of 62% MCTs – medium chain triglycerides (good fats). MCTs are smaller molecules, that are easily digested and quickly burned for energy and do not raise cholesterol.

Coconut oil is an edible oil extracted from the kernel or meat of matured coconuts harvested from the coconut palm. Coconut oil has been used around the world since 1500BC in tropical regions such as South and Central America, Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Polynesia and most of Asia.

One of the most versatile Superfoods in the world, coconut oil can be used for frying, baking, as a spread and applying to hair and skin.
